To achieve scalable organic growth, the strategy focused on:
CreativeCubes had already built a strong presence across Melbourne, with locations throughout the inner city and surrounding suburbs.
The next phase of growth required a fundamentally different approach.
The business began extending its physical footprint beyond its traditional Melbourne market, establishing a presence in Geelong and then expanding into South Australia and New South Wales.
CreativeCubes’ Adelaide location at 30 Pirie Street became an important step into the South Australian market, while CorporateCubes subsequently established a corporate-focused presence across Adelaide and Sydney.
Today, the broader network encompasses CreativeCubes locations across Melbourne and Adelaide, CorporateCubes locations across Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide and Sydney and additional Sydney expansion underway.
The website now reflects that evolution, with dedicated location and service pages designed around individual markets and specific customer requirements.
The business introduced CorporateCubes.Co, creating a dedicated proposition for businesses looking for premium private offices, serviced offices, virtual offices, project space and enterprise workspace solutions.
The challenge for the digital strategy was therefore much bigger than simply increasing website traffic. As the physical business expanded, its digital presence needed to expand with it. New locations meant new markets. New markets meant new search behaviour. And the introduction of CorporateCubes meant reaching a new and more commercially focused audience without diluting the existing CreativeCubes brand.
The digital strategy needed to help CreativeCubes:
"We’ve worked with Melroy and the team for several years across both SEO and SEM, and the experience has been excellent."
To achieve scalable organic growth, the strategy focused on:
As CreativeCubes expanded into new cities, location-based SEO became increasingly important. Instead of relying on a single generic coworking page, the strategy centred around building relevance for: Location + service + intent.
That meant developing dedicated pages around individual locations and the services available within them.
For example, the CreativeCubes Adelaide presence now targets searches around coworking, shared office space, private offices, virtual offices, meeting rooms and other workspace requirements.
The same principle was applied across Melbourne and Sydney, allowing individual locations to build their own organic visibility.
This approach helped transform the website from a single brand destination into a network of highly relevant local search destinations.
The strategy also moved beyond simply ranking for the brand. Search behaviour in the workspace sector is highly fragmented. A potential customer may search for:
This created an opportunity to capture customers much earlier in the decision-making process.
The SEO strategy therefore focused on expanding visibility across the entire search landscape rather than relying solely on branded searches.
SEO provides the long-term foundation. Google Ads provides the ability to compete for demand immediately. That became particularly important as CreativeCubes entered markets where the brand did not yet have the same organic authority or awareness it had established in Melbourne.
Google Ads could place the business directly in front of people actively searching for workspace solutions, while SEO worked in parallel to build sustainable organic visibility.
This created a two-speed, complementary acquisition strategy: Google Ads and SEO.
The two channels worked together rather than operating as separate marketing activities.
Between May 2025 and August 2026, Google Ads delivered approximately: 4.6 million paid search impressions across the CreativeCubes digital ecosystem.
Adelaide represents one of the clearest examples of the strategy working alongside business expansion. CreativeCubes’ 30 Pirie Street location now has a dedicated organic presence targeting Adelaide-specific workspace searches.
According to Google Search Console, CreativeCubes generated: 492 organic clicks from searches containing “Adelaide” during the measurement period.
Those searches generated more than: 43,400 impressions. Importantly, this wasn’t limited to people searching for the CreativeCubes brand.
The dedicated 30 Pirie Street page generated: 1,003 organic clicks from more than: 79,200 impressions during the measurement period.
That makes the Adelaide location page one of CreativeCubes’ strongest organic landing pages.
Sydney represented an even newer market opportunity.
CorporateCubes’ 347 Kent Street location has quickly developed a strong organic search presence. During the measurement period, the Sydney location page generated: 833 organic clicks from more than: 35,600 impressions with an average organic position of 6.49.
That’s particularly significant because the page is not simply receiving branded traffic.
The query “347 Kent Street Sydney” generated 25 clicks from 1,779 impressions, with an average position of 6.32. Even more importantly, the broader CorporateCubes brand is beginning to establish itself in the market, with “Corporate Cubes Sydney” ranking in position 1 and generating a 38.5% click-through rate.
This provides a strong organic foundation as the Sydney network continues to expand.
"Melroy takes the time to understand our business, clearly explains the strategy behind the work and is always proactive in identifying new opportunities."
Together, the results demonstrate how search supported the business at two different stages of customer acquisition — Google Ads capturing existing demand immediately, while SEO progressively built the organic authority required to compete sustainably across an expanding network of locations.
Comparing the first four months of the available GSC data with the same four-month period in 2026 shows a substantial improvement in average organic positioning.
The improvement becomes particularly meaningful when viewed alongside the expansion into new markets.
The website was increasingly appearing for searches where users were actively looking for workspace solutions — rather than simply searching for CreativeCubes by name.
CorporateCubes demonstrates an even stronger growth trajectory. Comparing the first four months of the available data with May–August 2026:
"I'd highly recommend Melroy and the team to any business."
CreativeCubes’ growth over the past two years demonstrates what happens when digital marketing becomes part of the expansion strategy rather than simply a lead-generation activity.
The physical business expanded. The brand architecture evolved. New customer segments were introduced. New cities were entered. And the digital ecosystem evolved alongside all of it.
From Melbourne to Adelaide. From Adelaide to Sydney.
From coworking to corporate workspace. The business has evolved and its digital presence has evolved with it.
